Rene Chana BA (Hons). Dip. MArch. MA.
Co-founder | Artitect & Urban Designer
Rene Chana is an Architect, Urban Designer and a Visual Artist. He holds degrees in architecture and urban design from Greenwich and London Metropolitan University and has over twenty years of experience working with various architectural and urban design firms across London and internationally. His expertise covers residential, mixed-use, hospitality, and transport projects.
Rene is committed to building a successful practice centred on sustainable design. Alongside his architectural work, Rene is expanding his creative horizons by pursuing a master’s degree in visual art. His unique approach, which he terms “Artitect,” merges his passions for art and architecture, reflecting his belief in the interconnectedness of functional design and artistic expression.
Rene’s work is driven by a deep fascination with creating spaces that are both beautiful and practical. He sees every project as an opportunity to balance the artistic with the architectural, pushing the boundaries of design. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Rene’s work celebrates creativity, inviting others to explore the fusion of art and architecture in their own journey.
Shelina Choda BA (Hons). MCIOB
Co-founder | Design Director
Shelina Choda is an Interior Architect, a chartered building surveyor and a visual artist based in London, UK. She holds a degree in interior architecture from the Paris American Academy, in Paris, France. As a co-founder and Director of Green Cities + Architecture, she brings a wealth of experience from her work on high-end residential, leisure, commercial and construction projects.
Before joining GCA, Shelina designed and managed numerous prestigious residential and hotel projects. Her portfolio includes luxury homes and boutique hotels, where she seamlessly integrated functionality with aesthetic appeal. Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to sustainable design principles have consistently resulted in spaces that are both beautiful and environmentally responsible.
Shelina’s passion for sustainable architecture, interior design, construction and art makes her an invaluable asset to the team. Her ability to blend creativity with practicality ensures that every project she undertakes meets the highest standards of quality and innovation.
